Membership with the Sidecar Racing Club of Victoria
“Club Plate” Registration is a huge benefit to many of our members, and rather than just throw the whole thing away because it is getting all too hard, we have decided to push ahead, and continue to keep the “Club Plate” Registration Program as part of the SCRCV.
Why are Full Members, with a Current Race Licence getting their Club Plate Registration Membership Cheaper?
- Our current racing members, are the backbone of our Club without them, we would not exist.
- The cost of racing is already extremely expensive, and a current race licence for people over the age of 16 is currently $290. This is our way of helping to cut down on extra expenses just a little, and say “Thank you” for racing under the SCRCV Banner.
The changes to the Club Plate Registration program are huge, and will affect the way we have to by law keep our records. If you are currently, or looking at entering the scheme with the SCRCV. Please head across to our “Club Plate Registration” Section, so you are aware of the changes that are happening, and what information, we as a Club will require for our records.
More About Membership Categories
Full Member with the SCRCV
You must be a full member of the Sidecar Racing Club Of Victoria, if you are using the SCRCV as your “Primary Racing Club”
You must be a full member if you wish to accrue racing points towards the end of year awards, for individual awards
In the case of a “Sidecar Team” only one member of the team needs to be a Full Member of the SCRCV, but the “non-member” of a team will not be eligible for individual awards
Full Membership gives you full voting rights at the SCRCV AGM
***Special Note
You cannot hold a “Club Plate” Registration and belong to this Category
Full Member + Club Registration + Current Race Licence

If you wish to have access to the “Club Permit Registration” and do not hold a current race licence, this is your Membership Category

Social Member of the SCRCV
As a Social member of the SCRCV, you are showing support for the Club, while not having the outlay of Full Membership expenses.
Many of our Social members are ex racers, or racers who have taken a break from the sport, but wish to still be a member of the SCRCV
As a Social member of the SCRCV you are not eligible for Trophies or Awards
As a Social member you are not eligible to vote at the AGM
